Hamilton Island is one of the 74 Islands in the Whitsundays, located between
the Queensland Coast and The Great Barrier Reef.

Hamilton Island is Australia’s most popular island holiday destination, and the
best thing about travelling to the Island is that you can get a direct flight from
most major Airports in Australia. It is a complete holiday experience with a
wide range of restaurants and activities for you to enjoy.

The Island has 2 main centres. The Marina Village built around the harbour and
the 205 berth commercial marina on the western side, and the Resort Centre
containing the main public pools on the opposite side overlooking Catseye Bay.

There are over 40 activities to enjoy here, from go-karting, tennis and squash,
to water sports, bushwalking and a variety of tours by sea and air. Add to that
a wide variety of restaurants, pools, shops and boutiques, a chapel, an airport,
some of the best sailing waters  in the world and 20kms of bushwalking, not to
mention a year round average temperature of 27.4C (80F).

Or you could just find your own piece of beach and a book and do nothing at all,
but relax in the Sun.

Passage peak, which is at the top of the walking trail on Hamilton Island.
